Prof Charles Ibingira B R,
International President World Health Summit 2019 – 2021

Dear Prof. Detlev Ganten,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TO YOU!

Together with the organizing team of the WHS Regional meeting at Makerere Kampala Uganda, due 27th to 30th June 2021, we join the rest of the M8 Alliance Fraternity to wish you a happy birthday belatedly. It was very innovative, and Heroic of you to have initiated the creation of the World health summit in 2009, as a think tank to advise the then G8 on Global Health Issues. From then to the creation of the M8 Alliance of Medical Centres and Health Science Academies that have a membership of 28 Medical schools and 120 Health Science Academies from all over the world. We appreciate your leadership until 2020 that has seen the WHS grow in popularity and contribution to Global health policy.

We thank the Almighty God for keeping you alive and well for all these 80 years and ask him to give you good life for many more years to come.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU PROF. DETLEV GANTEN, as I share with you some of the memories of your visit to Uganda in early 2020.
